I started this project in middle school, and have been searching for the Best Chai ever since. I grab a chai in every location I visit, evaluating the latte for flavor, quality, and enjoyment, as well as the overall establishment experience.

today we have a cutie dirty chai from our place in yorktown, ny, tasted on october 15! “dirty chai,” you may quirk an eyebrow. “we know this version of chai. dirty, espresso, old news!”

well, no! this chai is dirty in a different way… it is alcoholic…. WOAH!
It has: Vodka, Wild Moon Chai liqueur, Espresso, and Kahlua.
Intriguing! Wild Moon Chai in particular has got me tilting my head in curiosity. What’s that? What is that?

Wild Moon’s website boasts its liqueur as “warm, exotic, spicy, rich, full.” Okayyyy! to be exact, their liqueur is “a concoction of ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, coriander, clove, and black pepper.” love! hearts! many spices, i love that.

so, how does this spicy lovely woah hello liqueur fare in this dirty chai treat?

it’s a perplexing drink, for sure! the presentation is cutie. i enjoy the foam atop the dark liquid, along with the cinnamon triangular adornment sprinkled cutely.

it has a savory vibe to it. the espresso and kahlua provide the beverage’s depth, similar to an espresso martini. sweet and espresso bitter.
the liqueur makes it savory. chai can be quite savory in itself, with added sugars, milks, and flavors making it sweeter. as the wild moon website states, there is no sugar in the liqueur. there’s certainly no sugar in the vodka, nor the espresso. so, the only sugar comes from the kahlua, which has about 19.7 g per 50ml. so,,,, this drink was neva gonna be sweetie.

oscar had a very good thought regarding this chai: “sweet at first w/ foam, but almost a smoky aftertaste, it tastes like having a cigar after a muffin bite.”
perfect analogy!

so, yeah. our place’s dirty chai was something! as long as u go in with the knowledge that this is going to be a savory-leaning drink, rather than a sweet fall one, u will be pleased!

however, even after my realization as to the true nature of the beverage, i still wasn’t too fond of it. it was perturbing lowkey.

i drank it, but i wouldn’t get it again. it’s like a smokier espresso martini. some may enjoy it, so try it if you’re in the mood for adventure!

Very cute, very fall vibes! Lots of fall themed drinks and pumpkin decorations. They also had a vegan/gluten free brownie that I purchased, and that was pretty tasty. It was quite hefty, but its peanut butter content wouldve killed Ally.

I purchased the chai-der because I thought it would be fun. And it was! I just forgot that I don’t really like apple cider, so that’s my bad. The cider flavor overpowered the chai flavor, so I didn’t really like it. I drank most of it though. I liked it a bit more when it came to room temperature.

3/10, too apple cider-y, not enough chai. But this rating comes with the acknowledgement that I don’t really like apple cider, and the low rating isn’t their fault.

excellent review, naomi!!! i love an establishment with lots of fall themed drinks. should try out the chai-der from pch, perhaps will rectify this unnerving one!

this wee cup holds pch’s Chai-der, a yummy yummy autumn special featuring chai and apple cider!

it is EPIC! like an autumn breeze… 62 degrees outside… auburn leaves floating down… there’s a pumpkin, perfectly orange, carved with an exquisite expression on its flesh.. something between jovial and spooky….

the chai-der maintains the marvelous chai spices, singing its cardamom and cinnamon song, all highlighted by the comforting apple cider.

for sure order it hot! it would be so nice to sip the chai-der while reading a good book … and perhaps also wearing a sweater.

i’ve been busy w work and riff raff, but fret not, chai-curious oscar is here to save the day!

oscar very kindly sent a review of Whose Coffee’s chai, located in Englewood, NJ. here is his review:

“This Chai is the equivalent of a toxic relationship. One sip, and its sweet and amazing- then it becomes weird and cough syrupy. You keep sipping it, expecting it to change and live up to that first sip, but it never does. It gets more distant from that sip, more syrupy, but you finish it anyways because its all you know. Anyways, decent chai 7/10”

10ish hours later, i received a voice memo…

“also my chai latte kind of sucked like I kind of gave it a seven out of 10 no l’m retroactively like making that a fucking I don’t even know like four out of 10 that shit was Doodoo caca.”

oh my! fabulous prose detailing the chai’s disappointing flavor and the fruitless optimism one experiences when presented with a bad chai, all elevated by his introductory analogy.

the drastic rating change is so real. it be like that sometimes — you try the chai, full of hope and tentative bravery, your mind telling you that, hey, it’s bad, but maybe not that bad?
yet, time reveals all. time to marinate in the feeling leads to revelation.

so, yes. Whose Coffee’s chai is a

4/10!!!!

i’m scared i will elude it for the rest of my life, god willing.

anywho, here is something! a dirty chai latte from over easy in marlboro, nj!

og chai review dears may recall that i reviewed this years ago, with less than stellar sentiments.

i regret to inform you that they did not improve.

i zont like it 😭 i thought that the espresso would make it better, but it didn’t 😭 it’s just sad chai with a bit of jazz. i like jazz, but not in conjunction with despair.

over easy chai tastes like ass wipes, i fear. i’m sorry. i don’t like to be mean, but it’s true. i don’t know what flavoring they use for their chais, but they need to reevaluate it, because it’s not working.

imagine sipping some leftover chicken wing water. not in a salmonella way, just like… a weird way. a way that makes you feel terrible about yourself, even though you had nothing to do with it. you mistook it for a delicious coffee, perhaps. no, no. it was water that someone steeped a chicken wing in for perhaps 10 minutes.

the coffee made the flavor more offensive, and every sip made me sad. again, i’m sorry, over easy. it does not please me to say all this.

aside from their deeply upsetting chai, over easy is a beautiful establishment! our waiter was so silly, we shared laughs. food was very tasty (though my cacio e pepe egg sandwich was lowkey just a normal egg sandwich with a fancy name… i’m kinda bitter about that.)
the music was so good! i actually asked the hostess for the playlist, and she so generously texted me the link. thank you, brooke! in another life, we are friends. maybe this life, who knows.

i digress.
the chai is a 2/10, merely because i was able to finish it.
there was evidence of true cinnamon in there, but no other discernible chai spices. just melancholy.

also pictured: my reaction, our food, willow the crazy puppy, and mya in agony over the diet coke shortage.

this chai is from Birch Coffee near LC. I have been frequenting their establishment for around two weeks now. i hope i become a regular and they greet me with love soon.
their coffee is wondrous! however since i love their coffee so much, i have been frightened to try their chai…. what if it was bad? what then? it would sour my relationship with them.

however, i was brave today (can we get a round of applause for my bravery??).

this here is the iced dirty chai with oat milk.

yes, it is not straight chai (haha get it there’s a pride flag get it get it do you). but i wanted coffee so i took a risk.

i’m pleased, and kind of embarrassed, to say that i failed to stir my beverage, thus i got to taste the chai as if i simply got a regular latte.

the chai is nice!! it’s sweet and pleasant, yet still maintains some warm spices. i will say, it could use some more of that comfy warm spice. also, it tasted a bit too oaty, which i know is a risk with oat milk, but good chai lattes can hide it.

now that i’ve reached the coffee, i can confirm that the dirty aspect of this beverage is yummy! i like it.

i also love the vibes of this establishment. it’s so so small but gorgeous. they also have a free book lending shelf which i LOVE! i took one book… i need to lend one still…

7/10. i will try the straight chai next time.

i’m sorry chat it wasn’t me that tried that chai it was EVIl Ally.
while no image, i do have thoughts on it.
the chai is an authentic chai - brewed in house, then made into a latte. megan got the hot chai and very kindly let me try it, and it was lovely! nice flavor. could detect the spices nicely.
translating it to iced chai latte proves a bit tough,... since it’s actually brewed rather than concentrate, it felt thin and the flavor was kind of distant. my first sip was sad but i continued on and grew to like it... a bit
as a chai latte, it doesn’t truly stand up to what i have come to enjoy in my beloved beverage.
however, the authentic chai used in it is wonderful! the flavor was warm and comforting- i’m not sure how once could amp up its presence in an iced chai, but the hot version was lovely.
I talked to the barista who made my chai and asked him what makes a good chai, in his opinion. he said:
“i like to bowl the water and milk first before adding the chai. i have found that instead of bowling it all together first,
this way makes a better tasting chai for most
people.”
yay! thank you D!

i don’t know what bowling means but i am intrigued by this method.
anyway, 6/10. im intrigued.
also, they had great thai tea!! legend has it i accidentally bought the thai instead of chai at first and had to go back.... once again, i blame bottomless.

i was hopeful because the establishment is so beautiful. rows of beautiful flowers. i love.

i’m sorry to say that my hopes were crushed.
the chai was not good.

it was milky, dank, and frankly tasteless. the oat milk overpowered ALL! and made it so thin. it was like day old cereal milk, stale and kinda off putting. why are you drinking it? i don’t know! no one knows! but, there you are. suffering.

the chai flavor is overwhelmed by the milk. u can kinda discern some spice and sweetness, but its too faint to offer any joy.

hello megan here. nice to see all of u again. i didn’t get a chai but will still share my thoughts about the iced rose latte that i got. it looked beautiful however as we know looks can be deceiving. it was mid at best. i’d give it a 6/10.

so, yes! chai was bad.

i give it 3.5/10. i only drank it bc it was $7.50!!! bad.

hello megan here. nice to see all of u again. i didn’t get a chai but will still share my thoughts about the iced rose latte that i got. it looked beautiful however as we know looks can be deceiving. it was mid at best. i’d give it a 6/10.

so, yes! chai was bad.

i give it 3.5/10. i only drank it bc it was $7.50!!! bad.

not really! good chai was not waiting! mediocre chai, at best!

it’s a beautiful chai upon appearance. love the foam, implications of a wonderful color, and cinnamon.

first sip was wonderful! as per usual. but, you can never trust the first sip.
second sip was like dirty water. sorry to say it.

i was scared. i thought it was a dud.

however, it got decent as i chugged on! it still has that mysterious dirty (toilet) water flavor, but it has some casual spice in there. still, it’s not great. i will probably finish it, but not very happily.

this chai appeared to me mid-rammy shift, when i was simply in pursuit of a bacon egg and cheese, hold the cheese.

picture this: me, bundled up against the cold, wandering down columbus. hungry. fighting my scarf, which yearns to free itself from around my neck and fly with the wind. baya bar has no bec. sigh. market has no bec. perplexed.
suddenly… masseria cafe.
OH EM GEE.

i dart into the cafe and begin inspecting the menu. breakfast section, perfect. “PEC,” what the hell? oh, of course. italian. pancetta. let’s frickin go.
wait… this is a cafe. eyes drift to the beverage menu… no… it couldn’t be… a chai! a chai that i haven’t tried before!

i ordered a hot chai with oat, pictured in slides two and three. i wasn’t expecting anything fantastic, considering i didn’t even expect a chai at this fine hour.

good thing i had low expectations, because this chai did not blow me away. hardly even blew me.
first sip, as the trend seems to go, was BEAUTIFUL! i was excited. it was very spice-forward, like the dance of autumnal leaves in a breeze.
however, more sips unveiled that this chai was lackluster. it was very one note. spice, but for what? not very sweet, which is a big frown for me. also, milky. chat, when will They learn???
also, at some point, the spice started to taste musty. going back to the leaf simile, it was like DRY, DEAD autumn leaves in a wind gust in the pouring rain.

the italians are not beating the “bad at chai” allegations.

this chai is from black lion cafe in silver springs, maryland.

such a beautiful cafe!!!! the lighting was gorgeous, amazing choice of wood, and so many lovely plants. they also had an astonishing selection of vegan pastries! i’m so mad i didn’t see them before i ordered. they had a vegan tiramisu….. i will be thinking about that.

also, lowkey i think the baristas hated me 💔💔 to be fair, i WAS a wreck. i ran in there, asked, out of breath, for a hot chai latte with oat, then looked at her, dazed and confused, when asked what size i wanted 💔 then i proceeded to clumsily order a hazelnut frappe for nat (“can i get… uhh… huh?? um, a ‘hazelnut frappes medium oat??’”) 💔 barista looked at me like i was crazy 💔

the chai was DELICIOUS!!! foam city. first sip caused an outburst of joy. i was hollering! it’s spicy, yet sweet. i appreciated that i could detect the spices without being bombarded by them.
my first instinct was a TEN!!
but then i sipped some more and realized i may have been overzealous.
gaining control over my zeal, i discovered that there was a hair too much milk. the flavor i seek was there, but the ratio was off. once i took more sips, it became kind of like melted chai ice cream. like, you bought ice cream an hour ago, forgot about it, then got confused, put it in the microwave for some reason and decided to drink it.
still really yummy!!! don’t get me wrong. it just needed more chai and less milk.

this is from ready coffee! i was enthralled by the small stature of this establishment. seemed cute.

let’s cut to the chase. this chai is mid. it’s got that musty dusty chai flavor that comes from nearly every coffee shop that doesn’t really gaf. it’s like getting fries from some burger shop off the side of the road. you know what you’re gonna get.

not a chai, but vicky got a hit and run, hold the hit (aka a french vanilla latte). hello people of this niche community. my iced latte was alright. i prefer uncomplicated drinks, and like the name suggests, this drink ran with that idea. it’s rather plain, lacking the french oui oui and giving just the barest hint of vanilla. but, it gets the job done i suppose. i give it a humble 4/10. ok bye.

This chai is from Happy Earth Tea in Rochester, NY. It is advertised as a caffeine-free pumpkin chai (perfect for those of us who love fall flavors but who get headaches from caffeine). Me and my cousins all got a cup.

Very good! Light, warm, with notes of pumpkin and cinnamon. Not very sweet (in a good way). Lovely atmosphere and company too. The store sells bags of tea and tea kettles/cups as well. We also had a df gf banana bread cookie as a snack.

I had waited a year to drink this again. I was not let down.

Me personally, I give it an 8.5/10. The owner of this account probably wouldn’t like it as much due to its light flavor.

i’m eating a mcchicken at the moment, but i haven’t forgotten the robbery that took place in bryant park.

however, it was quite strong, so they did not skimp on the alcohol, which is a huge plus. also, it tasted good! idk how ally does these reviews but it tasted good, and didn’t skimp on the alcohol. however it was VERY expensive

hey guys i’m back again

i had time for a chai before work. what a luxury! this one is from textbook cafe in brooklyn.

i had an embarrassing moment immediately. this place has open windows in which you order from, outside. then you sit inside or outside at your whim.

i noticed the windows and thought “hmm. those look like you might order from them.” then proceeded to stand still. going “hmm” some more. i was even stood in front of a sign that had an arrow pointing to the order window.

a guy leaves and holds the door open. i go in and can’t find a cash register anywhere. im perplexed. i make eye contact with the barista, say, “oh! i’m in here!” and immediately walk out.

OH GOD WHYHWYBWYHYWYHY

ok anyway i then found the window and ordered my chai :)

it’s pretty nice. it’s refreshing and doesn’t make me want to cry. it has the chai flavor (they use a premade chai concentrate), but the one that is kinda woody and meek. like a shy tiny fire you made with a magnifying glass on the pavement.
it’s also a hair too milky.

however, i enjoyed it, yes. i would probably come here again.

i had time for a chai before work. what a luxury! this one is from textbook cafe in brooklyn.

i had an embarrassing moment immediately. this place has open windows in which you order from, outside. then you sit inside or outside at your whim.

i noticed the windows and thought “hmm. those look like you might order from them.” then proceeded to stand still. going “hmm” some more. i was even stood in front of a sign that had an arrow pointing to the order window.

a guy leaves and holds the door open. i go in and can’t find a cash register anywhere. im perplexed. i make eye contact with the barista, say, “oh! i’m in here!” and immediately walk out.

OH GOD WHYHWYBWYHYWYHY

ok anyway i then found the window and ordered my chai :)

it’s pretty nice. it’s refreshing and doesn’t make me want to cry. it has the chai flavor (they use a premade chai concentrate), but the one that is kinda woody and meek. like a shy tiny fire you made with a magnifying glass on the pavement.
it’s also a hair too milky.

however, i enjoyed it, yes. i would probably come here again.

i wanted to get a chai while waiting out the infiltration of our apt (people are viewing it). i figured, hm. maybe de lillo will have a hot chai. probably ass, but at least i could get content out of it.

i was wrong. there is no chai on the menu.
i should have remembered the catastrophe that was trying to find chai in italy.

so, while staring at the menu, trying to manifest chai into existence, i was suddenly asked for my order.

PANIC!
i had three options:
1) ask if they had chai
2) order something else
or
3) say “oops!” and leave

i almost did three, but i panicked and did option two.

thus, my hot chocolate.
with oat milk, no whip (bc my tummy WILL hurt).

it’s a pretty great hot chocolate.

if you are an og chai review fan, you might recall that i have, in fact, reviewed this chai before. however, that was back in the review’s original form, and thus doesn’t really count. plus, i just wanted to post here, so let’s be joyous and beautiful together.

i received this chai after conking out in the car and woke up to this beautiful sight. still in the daze of my slumber, i chugged the beverage like an ipad baby taking its required water break from cocomelon.

i do enjoy this chai! there is a spice to it—now, i don’t know if it’s the titular “tiger” spice i’m detecting, but if i press my ear against the cup and listen close, i do hear a little “rAWR.” it’s also sweet in a chill way, not nauseating in the slightest.
now, there is something disturbing about this chai. something not quite right. it kinda has a woodland taste about it. very weird, right? i looked up the chai online to figure out what’s strange about it, and deduced that it might be the clove. i have a lifelong rivalry with clove. if i saw clove on the street i would pull out a bomb and chuck it at the spice, then once that detonated i would hurl several tinier bombs at clove to finish the job.
anyway… yes, the chai has a slightly musty flavor/aftertaste. while i was pondering it in the car, i thought “hmm, this kinda tastes like cheeks.” a bit dramatic, but i think i was onto something.
the musty flavor is present, but not all consuming. so, it doesn’t necessarily ruin the chai.

all that being said, it is one of the better chai’s in the area! i would happily purchase it again.

at last, another chai review. i have been itching to write another, but i needed to gather the courage to potentially be disappointed. i wasn’t feeling incredibly courageous today, but i really wanted to review something, so ignored my fear.

this chai is from rex in manhattan, near lincoln center.
it’s a dirty chai, as my true heart’s desire was a latte, but i wanted to try a chai.
perhaps i was too greedy! perhaps i should have chosen one, chai or coffee, not both!

this chai was confusing. it wasn’t sweet enough. it had the spice i seek in its undertones, but it couldn’t withstand the coffee. am i the problem? probably. anyway…. i feel like if it was merely chai, it would still lack sweetness. i love my chai far too sweet, and this simply was not that.

i’m a little unnerved by the fact this is a dirty filthy absolutely grimy chai. i feel like maybe i should not review it, much less rate it.

but i will!

i was very excited going into this. we stumbled upon this concoction by chance while departing chelsea market. i was immediately invigorated. i had to get my grubby little hands on it.

i was quite excited upon receiving it. it looked delicious…. it had a nice color. i really thought it was gonna be the most delicious thing i had ever tasted.

WRONG!

i was wrong. so so wrong. yuckyuckyuck.

it tastes like ass cheeks with foot cheese sprinkled atop it, with an aftertaste of mint toothpaste that the manufacturers tried to overlay with pumpkin but got the recipe viciously wrong.

it for sure got better once all the ass juice was gone and i was just left with foam. however, i will never again feel the despair i felt upon that first sip. disappointment weaved into broken promises.

this chai is from mimi’s coffee house in mount kisco, ny!

i had a good feeling about this chai before even ordering it. mimi’s just has that energy… maximalist. comfy couches. all signs point toward a good chai.

it has a beautiful color. absolutely textbook good chai hue.

the first sip was breathtaking. i gasped! luckily, no one around me showed signs of hearing this audible surprise. if they did, i would have probably had to do something heinous.

it’s so sweet, just as i like. yankee candle, indeed. cinnamon yankee candle, oh so sweet. it was not too thin, one could even call it borderline creamy. but not, obviously.

i ran into issues after a few sips. the ice melted and thinned it out, taking away from the flavor. it became less delicious as a result. sad.

however, it’s still so good, and i mourn it being a 40 min drive from my house. i hope i return.

yes, i had big plans including a croissant i smuggled from cape cod, yet, nary a fun drink to accompany it! so, i got to work.

it’s tazo chai concentrate, trader joe’s NON-DAIRY OAT BEVERAGE™️, and trader joe’s brown sugar oat creamer.

i generally killed it. yup, yup.
tastes yummy and i WILL be devouring it and, perhaps, pouring myself another!

however, there are some unfortunate things.
1. the brown sugar creamer did not foam up like i wanted, despite my pulverizing with the little spinny thingy i forget the name of… so the drink is a bit too sweet now.
2. i’m uncertain whether the chai concentrate is good, bc when i opened it (from pantry) it didn’t go “creeccjhhhk” so im sus that it was opened and unrefrigerated for 5 months.
and
3. there was a scary piece of croissant in my chai that i thought was a bug, perhaps, and had a fright. (not really a fault to the chai, but, rather, my fiendish consumption of the croissant, but it was still scary.) (see 4th picture)

still, it’s a lovely chai, and accomplishes the Chai Drink Goal without me leaving the house. beautiful.

this chai took me on a wild ride. a short, yet dreadfully wild ride.

upon first sip, i was starstruck. the flavor was glorious! it was sweet yet had a good amount of spice. imagine a sky full of stars but the sky is delight and joy and the stars were little bursts of KACHOW! it was serving yankee candle! i immediately wondered if THIS would be the best chai in my chai “world” tour.

“what’s wrong with you? what’s wrong with you?” - maggie, as i stare into the unknown, witnessing things she couldn’t possibly fathom.

i gave a little stir, finally coming to, and sipped again.

what?

the sip yielded no flavor. i sipped again. nothing.
it went all milky!

i was sad. i am sad.

after it settled a bit, some of the flavor came back, but it still never fully returned to me.

picture me staring longingly out the window, my shawl wrapped tight around me, my thumb running continuously over the little heart locket holding a picture of my lost love. when will they return? somewhere over the horizon, they are there. i know it.

i knew this chai was not gonna be good. the mere fact that i had to try so hard to find it was enough to inform me that it was going to be bad.
though, they had a whole chai menu, so i thought, maybe, it would be okay.

it’s not! i’m not fond of it! it’s really not great.
just looking at it, you can see that the color is too light. it’s so watery! in both consistency and flavor. there’s a hint of chai flavor, but i have to really dig within myself to find it.

imagine this: your friend is drinking a chai, you’re drinking nothing. you had the option to also get one, but you declined. however, your curiosity is all consuming. you can’t help it. as your friend takes a hefty sip, you ask for a taste. you think they’re gonna hand you a cup. however, to your horror, they nod furiously, and start swishing it around in their mouth. what are they doing? good god, what are they doing? you gasp in horror, shaking your hands to perhaps quell their swishing and gargling. your friend takes that opportunity to spit the chai into your open mouth. they spit with such a high velocity that you can’t help but taste and swallow it.

that’s what it tastes like!

i heard it was a sweeter chai (could be huge for me). however, i also heard it provoked an experience similar to the “cinnamon challenge” (could be detrimental for me). i didn’t know what to think!

my first sips were perplexing. i would take a sip, staring out the window as i tried to grasp onto any molecule of flavor i could. nothing discernible. try again. same thing. again. and so on.
however, once i broke through the foam, i was able to glean some of the flavor.

the legends were right. this is a sweeter chai. however, it didn’t have much body, so, really, what are we doing here? unfortunately, the other part of the legend was correct as well. i did choke on cinnamon. i did cough and hack. help!

this chai is from black gold in amsterdam.

not only is this a chai, it is an experience. yes, my friends, i got to pour my own beverage onto the ice. as a lover of interactive things, this was fabulous. i felt on top of the world.
since i was given the entire pot thing, i got around 3-4 glasses of chai. wow! all for 5 euro. this is nice.

for the flavor, it was yummy! it was more so spice forward, especially given that the spices themselves were present. it had a nice kinda savory flavor.

i do wish it were a bit sweeter, but i just love sweet drinks. also, i wish it were a bit creamier.

overall, it was a lovely experience! i enjoyed pouring my own drink and having all the wee tools and stuff. the flavor was nice and intriguing, and it lingers long after the drink is gone.

this chai is from coffeemania in cologne, germany!!

i desperately needed this chai after this day (i climbed so many stairs and also its so warm out yippee). i needed this chai to be good.
two reviews on google said that the chai was “tasty” and “fantastic.” was this a lie? maybe! people lie!
however, this is no lie. nay, it was a promise.

YUMMERS! i like that. even just the color was delightfully enchanting to view. and the modest cinnamon on top.. okay coffeemania.
first sip, buck wild. WOW! it’s nice and sweet but also has that spice i seek. it’s kinda like a delightful walk in the park amongst flowers and friends. just beautiful. i slurped that down with great haste. i want another? i must control myself.

the only downside were the ice cubes. i enjoy the size and shape, and they’re quite cold as ice should be. however, there are far too many of them! the volume is off. i feel deprived of some chai liquid.
furthermore, there were so many cubes that one flew out and hit me! the violence! (pictured slide 2)
that being said, is that a crime against the chai or it’s creator?

hm. anyway, yes.
i think i shall give this chai a 9!
